Eva Green says she has never seen herself as a Bond Girl.

The actress – who starred opposite Daniel Craig in 2006′s Casino Royale – also revealed she doesn’t believe she’ll fall victim to the ‘Bond Girl curse’ because her character was a passionate, intelligent woman.

“I’ve never seen myself as a Bond Girl, but to me there is the character, I took it as a normal character,” said the French star.

Eva continued: “I think it is good as an actor to do big movies as well as independent ones. We made a movie that was very successful and that got people interested.”

Some women, including Daniela Bianchi and Izabella Scorupco, made appearances as Bond Girls but were seldom heard of again afterwards.

However Eva seems to be taking a different turn, with two films, Cracks and Womb, due to be released later this year.
